EV charging software provider chargecloud is pleased to announce the successful certification of the first charging station from Siemens. The charge station model SICHARGE D is now seamlessly integrated into the chargecloud software, allowing customers to effectively manage it.

With the certification, Siemens, as one of the leading manufacturers of charging stations and controllers, joins an exceptional array of certified hardware brands.

What does the certification entail?

Through the certification, the e-mobility software service provider ensures that charging stations are compatible with the chargecloud platform. The certification process consists in a comprehensive assessment, verifying that charging stations transmit all pertinent information, from charging sessions to fault notifications, to the charge point management system (CPMS) via the OCPP 1.6 protocol.

chargecloud also ensures complete documentation, including all firmware update procedures, is available for the charging station model, to maintain an ongoing integration with the certified hardware model.

Certification of SICHARGE D

During the certification process, Siemens' DC charging station was pre-configured for use by charge point operators. This enables customers to easily and quickly connect the SICHARGE D to the chargecloud platform. The certification ensures ongoing compatibility of the charging station and the highest operational stability.

In addition to Siemens' hardware, chargecloud has successfully integrated over 300 charging station models from established manufacturers into the platform. Certified brands include Mennekes, KEBA, Walther-Werke, and Starcharge.

chargecloud remains committed to expanding the range of certified charging stations, providing customers with an ever-greater selection of high-quality solutions for their charging management needs.
