Since introducing chargecloud, MVV has massively expanded its charging infrastructure – from less than 100 charging points in 2018 to over 5,900 charging points in 2025. The central platform has enabled the management and billing of charging points to be organized efficiently and scaled up as needed. The MVV eMotion app and the B2B portal have also enabled the introduction of new digital services that offer customers greater convenience and improve the user experience for both B2B and end customers.
A real highlight is the eLadepark Columbus, which has been converted from a former US military gas station into a modern fast-charging park with 12 HPC charging points. With Wi-Fi, snack vending machines, and work areas, this charging park not only offers fast power for electric vehicle drivers, but also a real charging experience.

Artificial intelligence used smartly
By using the AI-supported solution, Evailable reduces the effort required for fault management, thereby cutting costs. At the same time, profitability is increased because more successful charging processes are achieved thanks to higher availability of public charging points. AI performs several functions here: from automated error analysis and failure prediction to intelligent restarts. The goal: to make operations faster and cheaper, thereby improving the CPO's business case.

With reliable AI expertise, Evailable supports all chargecloud clients as a marketplace partner in maximizing uptime and increasing the efficiency of their charging infrastructure in a targeted manner. MVV also relies on Evailable's intelligent solutions for data-based analysis and automated troubleshooting to make public charging even more reliable. And the results speak for themselves: in the first five months alone, a 6% increase in successful charging processes was achieved. Every percentage point increase means a significant increase in revenue. Thanks to its collaboration with Evailable, MVV can now complete around 92% of charging processes successfully. By comparison, the European average is around 80%.
