chargecloud, a leading software provider in the EV charging industry, has announced the launch of its charge.marketplace.

Through the innovative marketplace, chargecloud customers can connect with partners and add on selected services to their e-mobility business.

Expanding the e-mobility business case

The services provided through charge.marketplace give customers the opportunity to professionalise charging network operations and gain a competitive advantage in the evolving e-mobility industry.

Some marketplace partners support operators in streamlining internal processes, boosting efficiency, and increasing cost-effectiveness of their networks. Others seek to provide an outstanding charging experience and enhance relationships with electric vehicle drivers.

Lasting, high-quality partnerships

To enable high-quality services and seamless cooperation, all marketplace partners pass through careful selection process. We evaluate the solution offered, the technical integration (if required) and the partner’s existing revenue model.

Companies that meet the required standards are listed on the marketplace and receive a ‘certified partner’ status.

Introducing our first partners

Several partners have already received marketplace certification on launch day, allowing charge point operators and e-mobility service providers to choose any of the following services:

  • Elektrovorteil: Full greenhouse gas certificate management with above-average, recurring reimbursements
  • Ladeplan: AI-based area analyses to uncover the best sites for putting up charging stations.
  • SICK Mobilisis: Sensors via which chargecloud customers can monitor parking space occupancy and identify blocked charging stations.

In addition to the partners listed thus far, new companies will continuously be certified for the marketplace.

How Does the marketplace Work?

Charge point operators and e-mobility providers can explore the marketplace and choose a matching partner. Once you submit a request, the selected marketplace partner will contact you to discuss all the details. You can then sign a contract with the marketplace partner to benefit from an extended service offering.

Markus Bach, CEO of chargecloud, sees great value in the new marketplace. "We can now offer complementary services from certified partners without compromising internal development resources. These resources are then available to our customers for the further expansion of our core platform. This creates a win-win-win situation for customers, partners, and chargecloud alike."
